Repairs Underway

After Clark Upgrade

Due to condensation problems, crews today were removing the roof over the new Olympic-size swimming pool at the recently renovated Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown.  Repairs, due to begin in September, will replace tiles from the floor in the athletic facility’s lobby that began to pop up a few months ago, apparently due to moisture beneath.   At some point, the pool will be closed for five or six weeks, and directional signs will be placed in the lobby to guide members to the gym and other offerings.  The sports center completed an 18-month renovation and expansion in June 2017.  (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
