OTEGO – Richard B. Roseboom, 51, an award-winning senior auditor for HUD’s inspector general, passed away Monday, Aug. 03, 2015 at Albany Medical Center .

He was born Aug. 23, 1963, in Cobleskill, the son of Herbert and Lucille (Ball) Roseboom.

Richard graduated from Worcester Central School, then continued his education at SUNY Cobleskill and Hartwick College, graduating with honors.

He married Linda Sriyanti on Jan. 15, 2007, in Bogor, Indonesia .

He received many achievement awards in his 20 years with the Office of the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development.
