Rommer sets track record for Spartans,
but Sidney tops Unatego on track

Unatego’s Anabel Rommer broke the Unatego school record in the girls 400 hurdles, with a time of 1:09.5, but the Spartans fell to visiting Sidney in a Mid-State Athletic Conference meet in Otego.

Sidney’s boys won the meet, 87-31. Sidney’s girls won the meet, 58-46.

Unatego hosts Afton/Harpursville for a meet 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 19.
