 Roseboom Power Days Warms Up

For Sunday Tractor Parade, More

Four farmers/antique-tractor collectors from Australia were among the surprises at Roseboom Antique Power Days, revived today and Sunday on John Deere Road after a one-year hiatus. The visitors, who arrived in L.A. Aug. 8, and have attended tractor events all along Route 66, are, left from foreground, Eric Larson from Victoria, and Ivan Quartermaine, Matt McQualter of Aussie Antique Tractor Parts, and Byron Mills, all of Western Australia.  Larson and Quartermaine own and have restored dozens of International Harvesters.  At right is their local host.   Another surprise, at left, were 6-week-old twins Walker and Waylon Peeters of Westford, attending with mom Molly, dad Jeff and sister Katherine.  Antique Power Days continue Sunday with a pancake breakfast, 7-11 a.m., a church service at 10,  and the tractor parade at 1 p.m.  (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
