Letter from John A. Rudy

Props for Coop Resolution

Kudos to Cooperstown’s Board of Trustees for unanimously promulgating—and to “The Freeman’s Journal” for courageously publishing—the recent resolution affirming our village’s support of the dignity and rights of our immigrant neighbors. (“Village Adopts Resolution on Federal Immigration Policies,” The Freeman’s Journal, September 18, A-9.) How lucky we are to live in a village with such caring and thoughtful leaders and institutions.
