Sarah McLean

Sarah McLean, 58, of Oneonta, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

Born on June 25, 1962 in Oneonta, She was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen Robinson.

She worked for over 20 years as a personal care assistant at Hampshire House, where her patients were very important to her and have became family over the years and the staff always took time to notice how compassionate and dedicated she had always been, she will be forever missed by her special friend, John Defee.

Sarah loved crafting and was an extremely talented “Kick Ass” cook, however her family was her biggest joy, her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother: Lyle.

Sarah is survived by her husband: William F. McLean, Jr.; children: William K. McLean (Nikita) of Sidney, Ashley McLean (Dan Roe) of East Meredith and Matthew McLean of Oneonta; nine grandchildren: Michael, Brandon, Destiny, Daniel, Aidreanna, Jayden, Lila, Chase and Catch; siblings: Harold Jr., Eugene, Patricia and Victoria; Adopted Kids: Jason Key and Joanna Parliman.

A memorial service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at First Baptist Church, 21 Second Street, Delhi, with the Rev. Jeff Staples.
