Seward Provides $20,000 Grant

For Adult Education Scholarships

State Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, announces a $20,000 to support the Center for Continuing Adult Learning at a CCAL reception Sunday afternoon in Oneonta. The organization is now accepting registration for its next round of classes. The senator called the organization “a beneficial community resource that enhances lives in so many ways. This state grant will allow the non-profit organization to expand course offerings and reach more individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to take classes.” The funds will support scholarships for participants who are unable to pay tuition.
