Sheriff’s Office Seeks Accident Suspect

OTSEGO COUNTY—The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating William W. Killenberger, 39, of East Worcester.

At 12:44 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, Sergeant Richard Kimmerer of the Road Patrol Division reported that Killenberger was allegedly involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, August 4in the Town of Westford. The suspect fled the scene on foot and is believed to still be in the area, according to a press release.

Killenberger has an active arrest warrant for assault in the first degree. Several other charges are pending, officials said.

“Do not approach or attempt to apprehend. Killenberger may be armed,” Sgt. Kimmerer cautioned.

Anyone that has seen Killenberger or knows his whereabouts is asked to contact the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office at (607) 547-4273.
