COOPERSTOWN – Baseball Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson just announced Edgar Martinez, Roy Halladay, Mike Mussina and Mariano Rivera have been elected by the Baseball Writers Association of America as the Class of 2019 and will be inducted into the Hall at the end of July.
Rivera went in with 100 percent support, the first inductee ever to get a unanimous vote.

COOPERSTOWN – This year’s inductees into the Baseball Hall of Fame will be announced at 6 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday the 22nd), by Hall President Jeff Idelson. It will also be simulcast on MLB.com
The 2019 Baseball Writers’ Association of American balloting features 35 players, including 20 new candidates and 15 returnees. Any candidate who receives votes on at least 75 percent of all ballots cast will be inducted this summer.
