Workin’ On The Railroad

Eagle Scout Directing Repair

Of Milford Miniature RR Loop

Troop 1254 Boy Scout Rudy Bohm, Fly Creek, hammers a piece of rebar into the ground as he repairs railroad track today at the Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railroad depot in Milford. As part of his Eagle Scout service project, Bohm will coordinate a project that will revamp the track, which was built 20 years ago for a miniature train that the historic railroad company owns. When it is complete, the goal will be to get the miniature train running once again, and to then offer rides to kids in Milford’s Wilber Park. (Parker Fish/AllOTSEGO.com)
