ONEONTA – Hartwick College President Margaret Drugovich will join Mayor Russ Southard, Town Supervisor Bob Wood and sports announcer Eric Malanowski in a pizza-judging contest at 5:30 p.m. Friday, kicking off Fabulous Friday activities tomorrow in downtown Oneonta.
The contest aims to identify the best pizza in town, according to Julia Goff, Destination Oneonta executive director.
At 6 p.m., the first of five murals that will adorn the Dietz Street side of the Oneonta History Center will be unveiled by the Greater Oneonta Historical Association.
The evening will also feature the return of Buffalo & Brandy, (raised in Oneonta as Mary-Ann Corrao Ferree), which debuted locally in the 1970s and have been performing nationwide since. The band will play 5:30-6:30 and 7-8.
