The 2016 Guide to Fresh Food & Fine Dining – the third annual Farm To Table supplement – has been inserted in this week's Hometown Oneonta and The Freeman's Journal, on newsstands around the county as of this afternoon. The guide will also appear in home delivery copies of the newspapers that arrive Thursday and Friday. The biggest so far, it includes more than two dozen enterprises seeking to bring locally grown foods to market. Don't miss it!

270 Sample ‘Local Food, Local Spirits’

Lucy Townsend of L.M. Townsend Catering and the Firehouse Market joins the applause at Otsego 2000's Ellen Pope heralds the success of her organization's second annual "Local Food, Local Spirits" celebration this evening in the Cooperstown Farmers' Market.  The event, moved to the spacious venue after it sold out last year, enticed 270 revellers to pay $35 each to sample locally grown treats.  The favorite vendor, per the voting of the crowd, was Origins Cafe.  (Jim Kevlin/allotsego.com)
