In Memoriam John F Lernihan, 77 Oneonta pharmacist, active in Mountain Club, Catholic Charities NEW LISBON – John F Lernihan, father, pharmacist and Oneonta businessman, died on April 29 at home with family, following a long hospitalization. Born in 1944, to Cmdr. John J. and mother, Margaret Maureen Lernihan, John was raised in Sunnyside and Plainview, graduating from St. Dominic’s High School in Oyster Bay.
