Adele Louise (Merkle) Johnson, a local artist and former librarian, died on Labor Day, September 1, 2025, at her retirement community home in Concord, New Hampshire. She was 87 years old. Born August 4, 1938 in Port Chester, New York, she was the daughter of Robert R. Merkle and Marie L. Merkle.
