COOPERSTOWN – The Village of Cooperstown is issuing a Snow Emergency effective AT 8 p.m. this evening through 6 p.m. Friday, DPW Superintendent Mitch Hotaling announced.
There is to be no parking on village streets during this time. Parking will be available in the Doubleday Parking Lot.
ONEONTA – Due to the continuing snow emergency, on-street parking continues today and until further notice to assist snow-removal efforts, Mayor Gary Herzig announced.
Cars may be parked on streets where the snow has already been cleared. If in, doubt check the list of streets open to parking at oneonta.ny.us/city/government/city-snow-removal/.
Travel Ban Still in Place For County
ONEONTA – Though the snow emergency has been lifted for the City of Oneonta, Mayor Gary Herzig is still advising caution when traveling the snowy streets.
“There are many pedestrians in the roads and visibility is restricted due to the large amount of snow lining the streets,” he said. “Drivers and pedestrians alike should use extreme caution. Let’s all work together to get through this storm safely.”

COOPERSTOWN – As of 9:30 a.m. today, the snow emergency for the Village of Cooperstown has been canceled, DPW Superintendent Brian Clancy reports.

ONEONTA – Street parking and bus services in Oneonta and Cooperstown will be suspended this afternoon due to snowfall, according to releases sent by the City and the Village.
