Six years from now I had planned to retire from overpopulated and increasingly urbanized Long Island to upstate NY-a clean, quiet, bucolic haven for child free retirees who slaved their lives away paying sky high school property taxes. Now thanks to decades of government and corporate climate change denial, all of NYS is getting blitzed with more tornadoes, microblasts and floods than ever before. And as overpopulation continues soaring, coupled with a declining death rate and more heat producing development occurs all of these violent climatic events will multiply ever after. Greed, ego, social and religious dogma no doubt are why humanity failed to stop the true causes of climate change itself until it’s now probably too late.
