NORWICH – Tobias Rundstrom-Wooding, 34, was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for the 2017 rape and murder of 11-year-old Jacelyn O’Connor, Morris, at the trailer he shared with his boyfriend, James Brower, this afternoon in Chenango County court.

“We asked Judge Frank Revoir to recommend that he never be released,” said District Attorney Joseph McBride. “And the judge agreed to make that recommendation.”

In addition to the 20-to-life sentence, he was also sentenced to 20 years for rape, to be served concurrently, followed by five years post-release supervision.

“With good fortune, he’ll spend the rest of his life in prison,” said McBride.
