Property Owners May Qualify For NY Tax Credits

ONEONTA – If you own property in the city’s Walnut Street or downtown National Historic Districts, you may be eligible for state tax credits up to $50,000 to help pay for repairs and maintenance.

Same goes if you own individual landmarks or historic district properties in Cherry Valley, Cooperstown, Fly Creek, Gilbertsville, Hartwick, Middlefield, Morris, Richfield Springs, Roseboom, Unadilla, Worcester and South Worcester.

CANO’s City of the Hills Festival Returns On Saturday, September 17 from noon to past midnight, Community Arts Network of Oneonta (CANO) will bring back the popular City of the Hills Art Festival. “This is the largest committee we have ever had.   4 Store Windows Broken Overnight 25-Year-Old From Buffalo Charged ONEONTA –  A 25-year-old from Buffalo was arrested overnight and charged with breaking a plate glass window at Tino’s Pizza and two other downtown businesses. Leonard P. Funderbunk was charged with three counts of criminal mischief, a class E felony. Officers responded to a 2:55 a.m. call from concerned citizen reporting a disturbance and arrived to find a man holding down the suspect. Windows were also broken at Tina Marie’s salon and the Oneonta Bagel Company.   One business had two broken windows, and two businesses had one window each…
