IN MEMORIAM: ‘Kitty’ Elliott, 85;

MILFORD – Catherine T. “Kitty” Elliott, a long-time resident of Milford and waitress at the former Hickory Grove Inn on West Lake Road, died late Monday afternoon, Feb. 8, 2016, at Bassett Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was 85.

Kitty’s family will receive friends  4-6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15,  at the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home, Cooperstown.  At 6 p.m., a Celebration of Life Service will be offered at the funeral home. 


In lieu of flowers, the Elliott family would appreciate donations in memory of Kitty to the Resident Council Fund at Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, 330 Chestnut St., Oneonta, NY  13820, or Catskill Area Hospice & Palliative Care, 1 Birchwood Drive, Oneonta, NY  13820.

A full obituary will appear here Friday afternoon.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home in Cooperstown.
