The Delaware deputies’ canine Ozzie led the raid. Oneonta city police and state troopers participated in the investigation.

Balde was arraigned before Town Justice Jacqueline Lamport in the Town of Stamford Court,  where he was remanded to the Delaware County jail in lieu of $150,000 cash bail pending further court proceedings.

Undersheriff Craig DuMond remarked

“The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office will continue to collaborate with its federal, state and local enforcement colleagues in its tireless and unrelenting commitment to bring justice to drug dealers who continue to poison our families and destroy our communities,” Undersheriff Craig DuMond said of the arrest.
