36-Room Plan At Hickory Grove

Withdrawn; 21 Rooms Remain

FLY CREEK – The petition for a three-story, 36-room hotel at the former Hickory Grove Inn on West Lake Road was withdrawn at the start of last night’s town Planning Board meeting, according to Otsego 2000’s Ellen Pope.

Attorney Les Sittler, representing developers Joe Galati and Susanne Adsit’s Blackbird Hollow Co., cited his reason for withdrawing the application as that conflicts of interest on the planning board remained unresolved.

The permit issued in 2014, for a 21-room hotel with a pool and pavilion, still remains.
