EXETER – A woman was arrested for smashing her mother’s cell phone during a dispute, according to the State Police at Richfield Springs.

Alicia Greene, 33, was arrested after an investigation into a domestic dispute on County Route 19 in the Town of Exeter.  Investigators reported that during  a verbal dispute with her mother, Greene grabbed the cell phone from her hands and broke it.  Police believe this was to keep her mother from calling 911.

Greene was issued tickets for two counts of the misdemeanor criminal mischief 4th, returnable to the Town of Exeter Court on Feb. 24.
