Exhibits Of Kassoys’ Works

Due In Westchester In Fall

GARRATTSVILLE – Two exhibits, one of Honey Kassoy’s works, the other for her husband Bernie’s, are planned this fall at Club Fit at 200 Bank St. Jefferson Valley, Westchester County, according to their daughter, Sheila Kassoy Krstevski.

The Kassoys, longtime members of the Cooperstown Association, summered for decades near Garrattsville, where the maintained a home and studio.

Particularly memorable were their annual picnics; they collected odds and ends throughout the year; guests brought more, and the gathering would create artworks on the spot.  He passed away in 2008 and she in 2013.

Honey Kassoy’s works will be on display in September; Bernie Kassoy’s in October.

The club is just east of  the Taconic State Parkway at “Route 6 – Jefferson Valley, Mahopac” exit.  Turn left onto Lee Boulevard, then right onto Bank Street.  Just tell the front desk that you are there to see the art exhibit, which is in the second-floor hallw
