IN MEMORIAM: Pauline 'Polly' Cole, 86;

Town Tax Collector, News Correspondent

ONEONTA – Pauline “Polly” Ellen Lasher Cole, 86, longtime Town of Maryland tax collector who wrote a community news column for the former Worcester Times, passed away Oct. 25, 2016, at Fox Nursing Home.

She was born March 6, 1930 in Oneonta, the daughter of Smith and Evelyn (Masker) Lasher.  Polly married Richard Cole on Oct. 16, 1948, at the Portlandville Methodist Church.
