IN MEMORIAM: Janna Wiedemann, 66, Oneonta

ONEONTA – Janna Darlene Wiedemann, 66, of Oneonta passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 20, 2017, at Fox Hospital.

She was born Aug. 17, 1950, in Port Jervis, the daughter of the late George Earl and Janna (Lange) Cummings.

For several years, Janna was a greeter at Walmart.

Janna loved animals. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and squirrels. She also enjoyed playing cards and going to game night at Elm Park United Methodist Church. She was a Beatles fan and loved to listen to their music.

Janna was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Oneonta.

Janna is survived by her children, Janna Wiedemann, Oneonta and David Wiedemann, Davenport; three grandchildren, Kailey, Ashlee and Bradley Wiedemann; one sister, Cynthia (Bob) Oakes, Hawaii.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services. A private burial will take place at a later date.
