Three Arrested For

Possessing Coke, LSD

ONEONTA – Three men were arrested Tuesday night after Oneonta police executed a search warren at 300 Main Street and allegedly found cocaine and LSD in the residence.

Timothy A. Baron, 37, Mark J. Fategoni, 55 and Zachery E. Meegan, 28 were all arrested and charged with possessing cocaine. Meegan was also allegedly in possession of LSD, and $9,500 in cash was also seized. Police were assisted by the Otsego County Sheriffs Department’s K9 Unit.

Baron, was charged with the class B Felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell. He faces up to 25 years incarceration.

Fategoni was charged with the class D Felony of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and the class A misdemeanor of criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree and faces up to seven years incarceration. Meegan was charged for the class D Felony of criminal possession of controlled substance in the fifth degree and the class A misdemeanor of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and faces up to eight years incarceration.
