IN MEMORIAM: Marshal ‘Mickey’ Wilsey, 53

CHERRY VALLEY – Marshal W. “Mickey” Wilsey, 53, passed away Jan. 9, 2019, from complications with his illness.

Born Dec. 16, 1966, in Stamford, was truly a jack of all trades when it came to working. From carpentry to roofing to lining nuclear stacks with fiberglass he did it all.  He cherished having a cold one and his family.

Survivors include his mother Mildred C. Accardi; he was son of Clarence L. Wisely (deceased).

He was brother to Marry Jane Miller, Betty Ann Kinard and Douglas Ostrander, Robert (deceased) and Rose Miller, Harry and Mary Rode, Blanche and Robert Wilsey, Clarence Wilsey, Brenda Wilsey, Kelly and Jurgen Reichenberger.

He was father to daughter Michelle Conway and son Robert J Wilsey. He was “poppy” to his 4 grandchildren. Mickey was loved by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many other family members and friends.

Calling hours are 11 a.m.-noon Monday, Jan. 14, at Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley, with the funeral service at noon. After the funeral a celebration of life will be held at the Richmondville volunteer ambulance squad. Please bring a dish and some memories to share.
