Candidate Forum Tonight

At SUNY-O’s Morris Hall

ballot-boxONEONTA – Candidates for state Senate, Assembly and the Oneonta Town Board will answer questions this evening at a forum that begins at 7 p.m. in SUNY Oneonta’s Morris Hall.

The evening is sponsored by the Cooperstown and Oneonta chapters of the League of Women Voters.

The evening will begin with presentations by the two candidates for Oneonta Town Board, Randal Mowers and Michael Stolzer.

Democrat Jermain Bagnall-Graham vs. state Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, will follow.  The final round will be between Assemblyman Bill Magee, D-Nelson, and his Republican challenger, John Salka.

Questions to the candidates will come from the attending audience and from a panel drawn from the  local news media.

The full Candidate Night program will be broadcast live on Cable Access Channel 23.  It will later be available for on-demand viewing at LWVOneonta.org.  A subsequent press release will provide schedule for the event’s re-broadcast schedule on Channel 23.
