Trapping Driver Under Vehicle

MIDDLEFIELD CENTER – Emergency personnel from Cherry Valley, Cooperstown and Middlefield responded to a one-car accident, where the vehicle flipped on Route 33 near Butterbowl Road last evening, pinning the driver underneath, according to Cherry Valley Fire Chief Marty Fields.

The driver was transported to Bassett Hospital, but there was no immediate report on her condition this morning.   Cherry Valley EMS took the lead, but Cooperstown firefighters closed Route 33 and stood by, according to Fire Chief Jim Tallman.

No further details were immediately available this morning.
