Oneonta Pedestrian Struck By Car Dies This Evening At Bassett Hospital ONEONTA – Daniel Heath, 76, the pedestrian struck by a car at Main and Chestnut this morning, has died at Bassett Hospital, OPD Lt. Douglas Brenner said a few minutes ago.  Brenner said he was alerted by the family to the elderly man’s passing. Accident Victim Was Morris Man ONEONTA – Oneonta state troopers have identified Guillermo J. Soto, 50, of Morris, as the driver killed in the fatal car accident in the Town of Pittsfield on Saturday morning.
