Cooperstown Chamber Welcomes MacLeish as Office Coordinator

COOPERSTOWN—The Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce announced in a press release on Tuesday, July 28 that Shelby MacLeish is the organization’s new office coordinator.

After recently leaving the Otsego County Conservation Association, MacLeish joins the chamber with a passion for building relationships, supporting local businesses, and connecting people with the organizations, events, and experiences that define the Cooperstown community, officials said.

As office coordinator, MacLeish will support chamber members, welcome visitors, assist with community events and help promote everything the Cooperstown area has to offer.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the chamber and becoming part of an organization that plays such an important role in our community,” said MacLeish. “Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people throughout Cooperstown and Otsego County.”

“I’m looking forward to getting to know our chamber members, supporting local businesses, and helping share the stories that make this region such a memorable place to visit and a wonderful place to call home,” she added.

According to the press release, MacLeish is especially excited to connect with residents, businesses, and visitors as she settles into her new role and looks forward to seeing friends, neighbors, and tourists at this year’s Cooperstown Artisan Festival.

The Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to supporting local businesses, promoting tourism, fostering partnerships and celebrating the unique character of the Cooperstown area.
