Inductees are pictured left to right: Yimdrulk Gyamtso; Olivia Temp; Lillian Badgley; Sophia Johnson; Owen Capozza; Yousef Khedr; Brian Zhang; Leah Phillips; Sawyer McManus; Thomas Geertgens; Andrew Olski; Brody Murdock. Current Honor Society members read personalized introductions for each inductee detailing their accomplishments as proud loved ones watched throughout the Sterling Auditorium. Superintendent Sarah Spross applauded students for their “exceptional achievements” that “stand as a shining example of what is possible through dedication and heart” in a speech. Club advisor Sabrina Page said in an interview that the “special cohort” of students was selected based on academic merit and interviews conducted by faculty about their service and experiences outside of class. The “awesome opportunity” made Page think, “Wow, maybe we could take advantage of some of these guys’ real skills in developing some programs in the community.”
