Bid Farewell To Pastor Bill Delia

The Rev. Bill Delia, pastor of Cooperstown United Methodist Church, with his wife Regina and the Randios, his daughter and son-in-law from Balston Spa, pause this afternoon from accepting good wishes from members of his congregation and friends in the community as he prepares to retire from the ministry.  He will deliver his last sermon tomorrow, and the Delias will move to a condo they own, also in Balston Spa.  Pastor Delia plans to complete his fourth novel, and the couple looks forward to enjoying a newborn grandchild.  He will be succeeded in early July by the Rev. Tom Lebeau, pastor of Faith Methodist Church in Lancaster, outside Buffalo.  (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
