Coop On Tap Moved

Into Doubleday Lot

With the $1.2 million reconstruction of Pioneer Street expected to be in full swing by Cooptoberfest, village trustees last night reviewed and approved this map, shifting Cooperstown On Tap, the beer-tasting part of the annual street festival, to the southeast corner of the Doubleday Field Parking Lot, marked in dark green.  That event, sponsored by Town Square Media, is 4-8 p.m. Oct. 7, the Saturday of Columbus Day Weekend.  The street fair itself, starting at 10 a.m., will be on Main Street, marked in orange, as it has in the past.  The rest of the Doubleday lot will remain open for parking, as recommended by Police Chief Mike Covert.
