Dr. Sternberg up for re-election

Cooperstown Board of Trustees member Dr. Richard Sternberg this week announced his plan to run for another term of office when the village votes on March 15, 2022.

“There’s still much to do in the Village, especially with the new state laws legalizing cannabis,” Dr. Sternberg said.

“I intend to continue my practice of independent analysis ofproblems that come before us and
act accordingly,” he said. “I will continue to work toward the need to stabilize our population and bring
in more active local businesses. As always, I will support the right of all citizens to equal treatment and freedom from discrimination.”

[Editor’s note: Dr. Sternberg is a regular and volunteer contributor to The Freeman’s Journal/Hometown Oneonta.]
