IN MEMORIAM: Eleanor Scorzafava VanCuren, 92
ONEONTA – Eleanor Scorzafava VanCuren passed away Jan. 13, 2016. She was 92.
She was born Jan. 11, 1924.
Her husband, George VanCuren, a pilot and POW during World
War II who worked for the D&H and the U.S. Postal Service, passed away in 2010.
There will be no calling hours or viewing.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 15, 2015 at Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta, with the Rev. David Mickiewicz, pastor at St. Mary’s Catholic Church officiating.
Burial at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery will take place at a later date.
