FEARFUL OF STORM,

OPT CANCELS BUSES

ONEONTA – Oneonta Public Transits announced a few minutes ago that it is suspending bus service from 6 a.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday.

The new OPT director, David Hotaling, said he acted, after consultation from city officials, due to concerns about safety in the face of predictions of 10 inches of snow during that period.

The suspension of service involved all buses, both within the City of Oneonta and back and forth to Cooperstown and other points throughout the county.
