Unalam Execs To Conduct

CSO Features Mambo Kings At Annual Benefit

ONEONTA – The Catskill Symphony Orchestra today announced three leading Greater Oneonta businesspeople will compete in the annual Guest Conductor Contest at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at SUNY Oneonta’s Alumni Field House.

The Mambo Kings, a fusion Afro-Cuban rhythm and contemporary jazz band, will provide the featured entertainment.

Green Toad Bookstore proprietor Jim Havener, Edward Jones Investment’s Sarah Manchester, and Unalam President Craig Van Cott will compete for the opportunity to conduct the CSO.

The concerts is sponsored by Morgan Stanley’s Table Rock Group in memory of Wendy Brown, and further supported by the Benson Agency.
