Hartwick Kids (Of All

Ages) Welcome Santa

The crowd begins to wave in anticipation as Mr. and Mrs. Claus arrive in late afternoon at Beanie Ainslie Little League Field in the Hartwick hamlet.  Above, from left,  are the Murdocks – Brady, Olivia, dad Brent, Vivien on his shoulders, and Connor – and the Hotalings – Keltyn, mom Kerrie, dad Ken III and Kallen.  The Clauses, aboard a white vintage fire truck, were escorted by a Hartwick Fire Company #1 engine with lights flashing, east through the hamlet on Route 11 and north on Wells Avenue to the Field.  Riding with the Clauses is Caren Kelsey, Hartwick.   Two dozen cars and almost 100 fans were present.  (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
