Ichiro Gives 3,000-Career-Hit

Memorabilia To Baseball Hall

After achieving his 3,000th career hit at Coors Field in Denver yesterday, Ichiro Suzuki donated the jersey, spikes, batting gloves, wrist bands and elbow guard he was wearing when he his the record-making triple to the Baseball Hall of Fame, HoF President Jeff Idelson reported from the press conference at Marlin Field.  He joins The Great One, Roberto Clemente, at the 3,000 mark, Idelson said.
