IN MEMORIAM: JoAnn Cresong, 69;

4 Children, 36 Grandchildren Survive

ONEONTA – JoAnn Marie Cresong, a homemaker who is survived by her four children and 36 grandchildren, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

The daughter of Earl and Jeannette (Carr) Kilts, she celebrated her 69th birthday on July 20.

Surviving are her four children, Joseph Stevens and Summer Eldred, East Meredith, Robert Kilts and Kimberly McManus, Kristina Armando and Arnie Carson III, and Yunnie Kilts and Crystal Luther, all of Oneonta; stepdaughter Priscilla Stevens, Oneonta; 36 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Louie Kilts, Donna Kilts, Ruby Kilts and Paul Shore, John Kilts, Ruth Kilts and Peter Shore and Denise Kilts.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jackey Cresong; parents, Earl and Jeannette Kilts; siblings, Robert, Tina Jr., James, Alberta and Helen Rose; and brothers-in-law, George Stockigt and Randy Condon.

Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oneonta. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. Following the services there will be a gathering in Neahwa Park.
