Jonathan A. Graham

Franklin – Jonathan Andrew Graham passed away on May 8, 2021 in Johnson City, New York. He was born January 9, 1988. Jon was the loving son of Peter and Ann Marie Graham of Conklin, New York.

He had a beautiful voice. He was a soloist for his church and sang in the church choir, in Canastota he acted in the drama club. Because of his stocky build, he was nicknamed “Babe Ruth” in his little league baseball team where he could hit the ball out of the field.

Jon and family moved to Conklin where Jon was active in the Civil Air Patrol, he was introduced to glider flight by sitting in the front seat of a glider, with the pilot behind him. His infectious grin was broad after this flight and it shone many other times in his life.

As a student at Franklin High School, he thrived on the debate team where he helped win numerous debates both for the team and in individual competition.

Jon moved to West Palm Beach Florida where he worked as a behavioral health technician for several years.

Returning to Conklin recently he was employed prepping for a chef. He was known for his mischievous sense of humor, fine cooking skills and inquiring intelligence that included a broad range of subjects.

He will leave a gap in the lives of all who knew and loved him. His many friends came from all walks of life. He accepted everyone and took an interest in all.

Jon leaves an extended family of uncles, aunts and cousins living throughout the country.

The family requests privacy at this time.

There will be a graveside ceremony at the Oleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin New York on May 22nd at 1:00pm.
