Signals End To General Store

Lyman Townsend, left, the Leatherstocking Corp.’s director of maintenance, directs the removal of the former Cooperstown General Store sign from the front of 32 Main St., at the end of last week, in a photo submitted over the weekend. Nothing has been announced on the future of the building, which is attached to the Hall of Fame.
