IN MEMORIAM: Linda M. Alessi, 65;

Cooperstown Native Dies Downstate

COOPERsTOWN – Cooperstown native Linda M. Alessi, 65, of Medford, L.I., passed way suddenly on Nov. 21, 2018.

Linda was born to Douglas and Frances Wayman of Cooperstown and raised in Hartwick.

She attended SUNY Morrisville, where she met her husband.  After graduation, Dan entered the service, which took the couple to Colorado and Germany.  The lived and raised their sons near Dan’s hometown on Long Island.

Linda was a compassionate, loving person, full of creativity and with a life-long love of animals.

The funeral and interment were on Long Island.

Donations in Linda’s name may be made to the Pancreatic Canter Action Network.
