IN MEMORIAM: Mae Pierce, 88, Nurse’s Aide

BURLINGTON FLATS – Mae L Pierce, 88, of Burlington Flats, nurse’s aide at Chase Nursing Home, New Berling, for many years,  passed away Thursday Dec. 1, 2016, in Cooperstown, with her family at her side.

Mae was born in West Winfield, the daughter of the late John and Florence Kawa Leogrand.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 6, at the Delker & Terry Funeral Home, Edmeston.

Cemetery Association Launches Community Facebook Page By EMILY HILBERTBURLINGTON FLATS The Burlington Flats Cemetery Association has a new Facebook group for those in the community interested in joining. The cemetery is regulated by the New York State Division of Cemeteries and the association is a not-for-profit governing body that runs the cemetery in Burlington Flats.
