Maryland Man Arrested On Hydrocodone Charge

MILFORD – Kenneth Albert VanDenberg, 58, Town of Maryland, was arrested at Monday evening for selling hydrocodone to another person in the Town of Milford last April 29, Otsego County Sheriff’s Investigator Mike Ten Eyck reported today.

Sheriff’s investigators arrested VanDenberg on a sealed indictment warrant of arrest at his Route 7 residence.

He was held in the county jail overnight and arraigned this afternoon by County Court Judge Brian Burns. If convicted VanDenberg faces up to nice years in prison. District Attorney John M. Muehl is prosecuting the cases.

The narcotics investigation was conducted by the sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division with assistance from the Oneonta Police Department Detective Bureau.
