IN MEMORIAM: Myron Fassett, 83;

Lifelong East Springfield Dairyman

EAST SPRINGFIELD – Myron Fassett, 83, dairy farmer, died on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Myron was born on July 13, 1935, in East Springfield, son of Owen and Iva Fassett. He was married to Madeline Fassett for 36 years. He owned and operated the Clinton Camp farm with his brother Kermit Fassett his entire life. Myron had four sons, Rich, Don, Tom, and Bob, who were raised on the farm.

Myron was a caring husband, a devoted father, and very proud farmer.  He is survived by his wife, Madeline, his son’s Rich, Don, Tom, and Bob and their families, including eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral was Saturday at East Springfield Presybyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catskill Hospice, 297 River St, Oneonta, NY 13820 and Louis Busch Hager Center Fund, 1 Atwell Rd, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
