Oneonta Rotary Gives $1,300

To OHS Wrestling Program

The Oneonta Rotary Club today presented a $1,3000 check to OHS Athletic Director Joe Hughes to be used in the high school's wrestling program.
The Oneonta Rotary Club today presented a $1,300 check to OHS Athletic Director Joe Hughes to be used in the high school’s wrestling program.  The money is raised annually in the Rotary-sponsored Ross Cordell Wrestling Tournament, held in January for the 27th time; 18 teams participated.  From left are club President Dave Rowley, committee members Dick Miller and Chad Smith, Oneonta Superintendent of Schools Joe Yelich, Hughes, and Geoff Smith, who emceed the ceremony.  (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
