Oneonta’s 2016 Trailblazer Award winners Rory Decker, left, an OHS senior active in Girl Up, a U.N. effort to protect girls worldwide, and Coleen Lewis, right, Oneonta Middle School principal and a member of 100 Women Who Care,  were honored this evening at a City Hall reception before the semi-weekly Common Council meeting.  Congratulating the winners are Mayor Gary Herzig, left, and Joyce Miller, chair of the city’s Commission on Community Relations & Human Rights, which presents the awards annually.  Runners-up Claire Garfield, Maureen Henessey, Martha Mezner and Carla Palmer were also recognized.  (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
