‘Oneonta’s Got Soul’ Concert at Foothills Set for Friday, Oct. 9
ONEONTA—Helios Care will present its fall fundraiser concert, “Oneonta’s Got Soul,” at the Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center on Friday, October 9. The concert features Soul Mine, a high-energy band out of Syracuse and the “house band” for this event.
Local performers will join Soul Mine on stage to belt out classic tunes from Motown, R&B, funk, and more, including songs from The Temptations, the Supremes, Earth Wind and Fire, and from Stevie Wonder to Bruno Mars.
“You will be up and dancing in no time,” organizers said in a press release issued on Friday, October 2.
Nate Gross is the music director for this year’s event. He and Soul Mine will be joined by John Thompson, Eric Haight, Doug Decker, Mark Pawkett, Allie Torto, Khalil Jade, and others to rock the stage at Foothills PAC, located on Market Street. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., followed by the concert at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at https://helioscare.org/all-events/oneontas-got-soul/.
All proceeds from this event support Helios Care patients and their families coping with the challenges of end of life.
“We are so grateful for your coming out to help us raise these much-needed funds,” Helios officials said. For more information on this event, and about Helios Care in general, visit www.http://helioscare.org/.
